Since 2008, The Violets have been meeting for brunch on the second Saturday of every month. All are welcome to join us for a rousing toast to keeping our resistance strong at Boots, everyone's favorite vegan and gluten free bakery! Event details are available on Facebook.

Looking for a 21+ meetup? Fem+Drinks feminist happy hour meets on the 4th Thursday of every month, typically at The Observatory in downtown Spokane. Event details are available on Facebook.
Come celebrate and give each other courage and strength to make it through the upcoming months with a little love and talk about policy changes, our current administration and to just hang out. No purchase necessary, but if you do wish to purchase something you get the super awesome Violets discount at Boots Bakery.

Someone who is comfortable collecting community news and writing the monthly Violet Bites newsletter in Mail Chimp.

Skills (or desire to learn) in marketing, PR, communications, journalism, social media or community organizing will be very helpful.
In return for helping to keep our monthly friends brunch well attended and exciting, you’ll get to know some of Spokane’s finest citizens and will enjoy the personal satisfaction of helping to create life long friendships that change lives. This is an easy and deeply meaningful way to contribute to the quality of life for hundreds of friendly and creative people in our community.
We’ll provide you with personal training should you be willing to take on this important role. If you aren't available to perform these duties every month that is OK, we will help you put together a team of folks who can sub-in as needed.
